General Scope of Project:
These clients came to
us with an exciting and challenging proposal. They
bought a home in the exact area they wanted to live in, even though
they did not particularly like the home. They bought this home
with the intention of renovating within a few years. They didn't
particularly like the way the existing home looked and were not
happy with the design itself. There were many areas that
needed addressing; too many to list here. We discussed several
options, one of which was leveling the house and starting over.
That idea was eventually removed from the table and we proceeded to
redesign the entire home around the existing structure, trying to
incorporate as much of it as possible. As you will see from
the photos, there wasn't much left of the original plan when we were
finished.
